Painting with Gouache on Marbled Paper

In my “Painting with Gouache on Marbled Paper” workshop, you’ll spend four weeks transforming expressive, abstract surfaces into finished paintings — guided step-by-step, whether you’re a complete beginner or already comfortable with gouache. Each week includes a live Zoom session: a demo followed by guided painting time, plus personalized feedback on your work.

Working in small groups (max 5 people), we’ll explore how to mix vibrant colour, use gouache’s opacity and transparency to build depth, and respond intuitively to the marbled background to shape your composition. You’ll also learn techniques for proportion, layering, and composition (or use a simplified tracing method if you prefer), giving you the tools and confidence to create bold, expressive art. For those who want extra guidance, a premium option offers one-on-one Zoom sessions for personal critique, support, and tailored feedback.
